The company keeps documentation on everything you do. It's only reasonable that you document everything they do.

Also, if you think there's going to be an issue about your being able to retrieve the documentation (for example, the company seems like they're gearing up for a separation of employment, so you will lose access to your email), print it and take it home. Every day.

Do Not Let HR do this to you. It is not illegal to talk about wages in the work place. I did and got a 12% raise!

So my only employee informed me she'll be leaving soon. Her new job offers a higher wage, more hours, health benefits, tuition assistance, and greater opportunities down the road--there's no competition. She said she'd provide me with a proper two weeks notice, I'm guessing I'll be getting that tomorrow. Part of me didn't want to tell my horrible boss about it until I received her notice...but then I realized it would be bad for me if it ever slipped out I had known earlier.

Friends, that was the worst phone call I can remember having in years. I was so, so close to losing it.

My terrible DM--who, when he was store manager, made up infractions to justify firing his staff so he could have overtime pay--asked me why I had such a terrible turnover rate. Because this had been a long-running issue. Staffing was my responsibility. I wasn't allowed to have overtime. But also, I wasn't allowed to hire with the intention of just having time off, I had to hire the right people too. And absolutely no overtime.

What a shame the DM just cut the training hours across the region and the new guy I just hired is now incommunicado after having his first training shift cancelled. Tragic.

Friends. This Deranged Man actually had the gall to repeatedly ask me why I had so much trouble with staffing and wanted my answer (I'm not the only one, pal). As if, "they had a better opportunity come their way," wasn't a complete explanation. But the narrative he wants to push is that it's me and my management style, that I'm the problem. I was breathing so intensely, it was all I could do to keep from saying, "the problem is you!" (I have the testimony to back that claim up). Laughing hysterically and dropping my keys was also on the table. Instead, I managed to tell him that I'm discussing the matter with HR on Monday, and I'm not comfortable talking to him about the matter until that conversation takes place. I had to repeat myself. He didn't understand, but he dropped it.

So unfortunately he knows I'm talking to HR tomorrow, but he thinks it's due to personal reasons, so I guess he's not aware of my complaint against him. It sucks that he knows, but on the upside I have documentation of the complaint my colleague sent to my DM's boss. In case it got lost.

I'm anxious, I'm hopeful. And just in case, I looked up employment lawyers in my area. And hey, since she has nothing to lose, I'm going to suggest lodging a complaint to my part-timer, if it applies.

May I ask what were the best transformers media you ever saw/read?

Well Transformers Prime, Transformers 1986 and IDW comics are having the first place that’s for sure

And then the second place is kind of shared by Fall of Cybertron, Exodus, Prime wars trilogy, Robots in disguise(2001) and Transformers One.

The third place goes to G1, Animated, Earthspark, Armada, War for Cybertron Netflix series, Aligned Robots in disguise, Bumblebee, Rise of the Beasts and Cyberverse because I only liked some little parts of them.

And then I also saw some of the Bay movies, Victory and Headmasters and didn’t like them at all.

Separate first place for J-Decker. It is not exactly Transformers but it is a show about giant robots and I loved it

i do want to say the reason i made this blog is genuine love for any library, but especially this one that's digitizing entire museums, hundreds of thousands of books, etc. it's just special to live in an internet age where nearly anything you could want to learn can be found...on the internet archive!

Something about.. how t-wording causes your body to betray you.

How no matter who you are (how dignified, tough, professional, serious, etc), getting t-worded will force you into a vulnerable and helpless state.

How embarrassing that is, to always have a weakness that makes you lose all of your dignity, reducing you to squirming and begging and makes you feel weak and out of control.

How much having this weakness you can’t get rid of means there’s always something that can be used against you, used to control you, used to humble you.

Just the inherent .. invasiveness of it all? The idea of having this weakness at all, that’s literally always gonna be so accessible to exploit if someone really wanted to. Being so afraid that someone might find out. How it always tears down every mental defence you’ve ever steeled within yourself and forces you to act in such an involuntary way which makes you burn hot with embarrassment?? How easy it is to control you with this.

Damn. I think that’s maybe a core reason this kink appeals to me 👀

Jorgen’s usually not the one in charge of assigning godchildren. There’s an entire department that weighs and classifies potentail Godkids to the right Fairy. Although it’s on strike at the moment.

So Jorgen has to do it by hand, until the union negotiations are resolved. Turns out trying to use paperclips is very hard. Itty bitty paperclips. Big muscular biceps. Not a good combo.

I think a really fun idea to explore with Tim would be the idea of him having Hyperthymesia.

Hyperthymesia is an ability that allows people to recall almost every event of their life in great detail. It's extremely rare and honestly doesn't have that much research done on it, but recent studies have suggested that people with this ability are limited to autobiographical memories, people with HSAM sometime tend to show symptoms of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and may demonstrate obsessive tendencies.

I think it would be an interesting way to explain why Tim was able to recall his first meeting with Dick Grayson and connect the dots to seeing Robin. Tim does display a lot of obsessive behaviours, and while he doesn't really physically display compulsion (like someone with OCD would typically display) there certainly is a strong case to be made for him potentially having it.

But also, can you imagine how fucking horrible it would be for Tim to remember each and every traumatic thing that ever happens to him as a hero and those memories just never fading. Yes, it would make him a better detective and allow him to be arguably smarter than your average joe, but at what cost?

looking at these pictures side by side like this really puts so much in perspective. all the hard parts of second puberty and surgery recovery, all the fighting with my parents over the steps it took to get here, all the hours i worked at an awful job to save up for it, all the years i spent waiting for any of this to be possible…it’s all so worth it to be where i am now.

two years ago, if you had shown me the picture on the right, i probably would’ve said that even t and top surgery could never make me look like that, no matter how much i wanted to. that was the kind of person whose pictures i would look up to as some sort of wishful thinking, never as a realistic goal, and now here i am. now that’s my body and i feel like i can relax in it and just be for the first time.

being trans is so fucking cool man.
